Papilio troilus (Spicebush Swallowtail) is a species of butterflies in the family swallowtail butterflies. They are native to The Neotropics and The Nearctic. They visit flowers of Dame's-violet, common buttonbush, jewelweed, and Carolina puccoon. They are solitary, diurnal herbivores. Individuals can grow to 87.5 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.
