Flowers monoecious, solitary, axilary, white or pale yellow, 5-6mm across; perianth lobes 6, stamens 3, anthers erect, filaments united into a column;in female flowers ovar 3 celled, styles 3, 2fid.Capsule 4-6mm across, three lobed, seeds triquetrous with foveolate testa.
