Description:
Family: EuphorbiaceaeDistribution: Common on rocky boulders.Limited to Peninsular India. Photographed at Velugonda Hills of Eastren Ghats of Andhra Pradesh.This species is often mistaken as Phyllanthus emblica in vegetative phase. Flowers monoecious, solitary, axilary, white or pale yellow, 5-6mm across; perianth lobes 6, stamens 3, anthers erect, filaments united into a column;in female flowers ovar 3 celled, styles 3, 2fid.Capsule 4-6mm across, three lobed, seeds triquetrous with foveolate testa.
