They are native to Santa Catarina, Paraná, Ceará, SãO Paulo, GoiáS, Rio Grande Do Sul, Pampa, Cerrado, Distrito Federal, Minas Gerais, Caatinga, Alagoas, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande Do Norte, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Bahia, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso, Sergipe, Mata Atlântica, ParaíBa, and Rio De Janeiro. They have compound, broad leaves.
