Eriodictyon californicum (California Yerba Santa) is a species of shrub in the family Boraginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Western North America, United States, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves, purple flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Pale Swallowtail, Vanessa cardui, Cercyonis sthenele behrii, and Argynnis callippe. Individuals can grow to 8 feet.
