Persicaria amphibia (Amphibious Bistort) is a species of perennial herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, South America, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Alaska, Canada, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves, yellow flowers, and achenes. Flowers are visited by American Snout, Hercostomus nigripennis, Gorytes, and Marsh Hoverfly. Individuals can grow to 0.5 m.
