Abutilon indicum (Monkeybush) is a species of shrub in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii. They have simple, broad leaves and loculicidal capsule fruit.
