Persicaria virginiana (Jumpseed) is a species of annual herb in the family Polygonaceae. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, North America, and South America. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Toxomerus geminatus, Aerial yellowjacket, Widow Yellowjacket, and Ocyptamus fuscipennis.
