They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, El Salvador, Rio De Janeiro, India, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, United States, Espirito Santo, Laos, Belize, Haiti, The Philippines, Indonesia, Caatinga, SãO Paulo, Santa Catarina, The Dominican Republic, British Virgin Islands, Madagascar, Taiwan, Grenada, Cuba, Paraná, Malaysia, Barbados, China, Sri Lanka, French Guiana, Thailand, Bhutan, Nicaragua, North America, Ecuador, Mata Atlântica, Saint Lucia, Australia, South Africa, Eastern North America, Bahia, Vietnam, Panama, Chile, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Brazil, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Pernambuco, The Bahamas, Peru, Bolivia, Cambodia, Nigeria, Trinidad And Tobago, Somalia, Honduras, Guadeloupe, The Contiguous United States, Ceará, U.S. Virgin Islands, Virgin Islands, U.s., Martinique, Jamaica, Argentina, Mexico, and Mozambique. Flowers are visited by White Peacock, Red-waisted Florella Moth, and Honey bee.
