Vernonia fasciculata (Prairie Ironweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as endangered by COSEWIC. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Monarch, Culex, Senotainia, and Leucania. Individuals can grow to 12 dm.
