Valeriana edulis (Tobacco Root) is a species of perennial herb in the family Caprifoliaceae. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and North America. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Icaricia saepiolus, Conophorus sackenii, and Orange-legged furrow bee.
