Iris foetidissima (Stinking Iris) is a species of perennial herb in the family Iridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Buff-tailed bumblebee, Bombus hypnorum, Anthophora retusa, and Red tailed bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 18 m.
