Iris (Iris) is a genus of perennial herb in the family Iridaceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Canada, and Alaska. They have capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Palamedes Swallowtail, Monarch, Augochlorella aurata, and Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Individuals can grow to 5.7 m.
