Lantana camara (Lantana) is a species of shrub in the family Verbenaceae. They are climbers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to South America, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Central America, and US Minor Outlying Islands. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by False Plain Tiger, Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, Cethosia cyane, and Cepora nerissa. Individuals can grow to 2.6 m.
