Lantana camara (Lantana) is a species of shrub in the family Verbenaceae. They are climbers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to South America, U.S. Virgin Islands, US Minor Outlying Islands, The Neotropics, Central America, and Puerto Rico. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Papilio rumiko, Gray Hairstreak, Plain tiger, and Monarch. Individuals can grow to 2.6 m.
