(Clark & Rowe, 1971); Australia (Rowe & Gates, 1995). Ecology: benthic, inshore, continental shelf, deposit feeder. General distribution: tropical, Indo-west Pacific Ocean, depth range 0-60 m. (Rowe & Gates, 1995).
