Maretia planulata (Fine Spined Heart Urchin) is a species of echinoderms in the family Maretiidae. Dead Fine Spined Heart Urchin form shallow marine sediments. They are bioturbators. Individuals can grow to 70 mm. They have sexual reproduction.
