Chrysocyon brachyurus (Maned Wolf) is a species of mammals in the family Canidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are native to The Neotropics. They are solitary, nocturnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 180 months and can grow to 1245.72 mm. They have parental care (paternal care). They rely on running to move around.
