Shrubs. Leaves opposite, 5-15 cm long; leaflets 3-7, 2-10 cm long, 1-5 cm broad, ovate to oblong, mostly subobtuse, rarely acute or emarginate, entire or crenate or serratulate on upper portion, glabrous, slightly pubsescent on ventral side when young, petiolulate. Flowers bisexual, in terminal leafy panicles; panicles as long as or slightly exceeding the leaves. Calyx 4-lobed, almost truncate, persistent. Corolla white; tube short, not exceeding the calyx; lobes 4, lanceolate, 5-7 mm long. Samarae falcate, topped by a broad spatulate, obtuse or acutish wing, 2.5-3 cm long; wing up to 1.4 cm broad.
