Fraxinus (Ash) is a genus of shrub in the family Oleaceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and North America. They have samara. Flowers are visited by One Spotted Stink Bug, Phthiria, Colletes productus, and Phasia aldrichii. Individuals can grow to 18 m.
