Fraxinus is a genus of plants in the family Oleaceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Eastern North America and North America. Flowers are visited by Stylogaster neglecta, Elachiptera, One Spotted Stink Bug, and Coelioxys alternata. Individuals can grow to 18 m.
