모노클레아속(Monoclea)은 우산이끼목에 속하는 우산이끼류 속의 하나이다.[2] 모노클레아과(Monocleaceae)의 유일속이다. 두 종을 포함하고 있다.[2] 뉴질랜드와 중앙아메리카 및 남아메리카뿐만 아니라 카리브해에서도 발견할 수 있다.[3] 20세기 후반에는 모노클레아목(Monocleales)이라는 별도의 목으로 분류했지만 이후의 분자생물학 연구에 따르면 우산이끼목에 속하는 두모르티에라속과 밀접한 관련이 있음을 보여준다.
