Morrison's Cypress Pine

Callitris canescens, Morrison's Cypress Pine, is a shrubby tree that grows up to six meters in height. It has erect branches, with very short leaves of two to four millimeters in length. Male grey-green cones occur singly, rarely in pairs, and are oval in shape and up to three millimeters in length. Female cones occur singly several together on stout, apically expanded, often clustered fruiting branchlets. These cones are broadly ovoid to depressed-globular, growing to twenty millimeters in diameter; they are persistent on the tree and hold their seeds for several years after maturity. Native to South Australia and Western Australia.

Callitris canescens is a species of conifer in the family Cupressaceae. It is found only in Australia.
