Habitat ( Inglês )

fornecido por EOL authors
Euphorbia aphylla is found in coastal communities on the eastern Atlantic Ocean, where the marine microclimate dominates. It is almost always found on rocky coasts at elevations less than 100 metres above mean sea level. Some common associates on the Canary Islands are <l>Ceropegia dichotoma and Argyranthemum coronopifolium. Such coastal areas are termed aeroaline, since they are governed by saline aerosols transported by the westerly marine winds. E. aphylla is able to grow in narrow rock clefts with minute amounts of soil for rooting.
