Pinus edulis (Colorado Pinyon) is a species of tree in the family pines. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to northern hemisphere, United States, North America, Western North America, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, spine-shaped leaves, yellow flowers, and cones. Individuals can grow to 50 feet.
