The White-bellied Munia (Lonchura leucogastra) is an estrildidfinch native to most of the Southeast Asian countries namely, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia. They are found in tropical or subtropical lowland forests. Since most of the Southeast Asian countries produce rice, wheat, and other grains, Munias are generally considered as local pests.
