Pinnularia mesolepta is a species of diatoms in the family Pinnulariaceae. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Pará, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, and SãO Paulo. Dead Pinnularia mesolepta form siliceous oozes.
