Test free, subspherical, globular proloculus followed by strongly overlapping enrolled chambers as in Sphaerammina, only the last one or two chambers visible externally; wall coarsely agglutinated with finer-grained ground mass, early chambers finer grained; aperture small, rounded to slightly elongate, bordered by short inward projecting entosolenian neck, but without an external tooth.
