Test elongate ovate in outline, flattened, chambers biserially arranged, early ones in planispiral coil as in Cassidulina,later uncoiling with chambers projecting farther distally on the outer margin and extending back toward the early coil on the other margin, sutures oblique, nearly straight, flush to slightly depressed; wall calcareous, thin, hyaline, finely perforate, optical character not described; aperture an elongate slit near the base of the apertural face, nature of apertural margins or toothplate not reported.
