Petrodictyon gemma is a species of diatoms in the family Surirellaceae. They are native to Pernambuco, SãO Paulo, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Norte, Rio Grande Do Sul, and Espirito Santo. Dead Petrodictyon gemma form siliceous oozes.
