Cryptonelloidea is a superfamily of lamp shells. There are 155 species of Cryptonelloidea, in 26 genera and 4 families. This superfamily has been around since the devonian period. It includes groups like Cryptonellidae, Labaiidae, and Notothyrididae. They have sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
