Skeletonema costatum

Skeletonema costatum is a species of diatoms in the family Skeletonemataceae. They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio De Janeiro, Pará, SãO Paulo, Paraná, Maranhao, ParaíBa, Alagoas, Espirito Santo, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Pernambuco, and Sergipe. Dead Skeletonema costatum form siliceous oozes.
