Pinnularia brauniana is a species of diatoms in the family Pinnulariaceae. They are native to Pará, Rio Grande Do Sul, Espirito Santo, Paraná, Distrito Federal, SãO Paulo, and GoiáS. Dead Pinnularia brauniana form siliceous oozes.
