Description: English: An ambushing Daceton armigerum worker that just seized a pierid butterfly after striking it on the head with its long mandibles. This numbed the butterfly at first, but it later struggled and was then spread-eagled by six recruited workers. One can note the well-developed claws on the pretarsa, at the extremities of the worker's legs, permitting it to get a good grip on the bark of the host tree. doi:10.1371/journal.pone.0037683.g003.
