Indigofera hirsuta (Roughhairy Indigo) is a species of annual herb in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to SãO Paulo, Alagoas, Mato Grosso, Ceará, Rio De Janeiro, Maranhao, Piauí, ParaíBa, Mata Atlântica, Cerrado, Minas Gerais, Caatinga, Pará, Sergipe, Amazônia, Paraná, Roraima, Rio Grande Do Norte, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Tocantins, Bahia, and Pernambuco. They have compound, broad leaves and purple flowers. Individuals can grow to 5 feet.
