Elephantopus tomentosus (Devil's Grandmother) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Xylocopa virginica virginica, Stylogaster neglecta, Snowberry Clearwing, and Vernia verna. Individuals can grow to 8 dm.
