Madia sativa (Coast Tarweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, The Contiguous United States, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Centris cineraria, Leioproctus andinus, Battus philenor hirsuta, and Mourecotelles ruizii.
