Les filesiacees (nome científicu Philesiaceae) son una familia de plantes monocotiledónees distribuyíes nel sur de Chile, son parrotales bastante maderizos o enredaderes, con fueyes peciolaes, les sos flores son grandes y péndulas, el frutu ye una baga. La familia foi reconocida por sistemes de clasificación modernos como'l sistema de clasificación APG III (2009[3]) y el APWeb (2001 d'equí p'arriba[2]).

Rellacionaes con esta familia tán Liliaceae (16 xéneros, 600 especies, geófitas del Hemisferiu Norte), Smilacaceae (monogenérica, 315 especies, casi cosmopolita), y Rhipogonaceae (1 xéneru con 6 especies, del este d'Australia), como respondíu por en Chase et al. 1995a,[4] 2006,[5] Conran 1998,[6] Fay et al. 2006,[7] Rudall et al. 2000a.[8] Nun se conocen calteres fora de los del ADN que xunan a toes estes families. Smilacaceae, Philesiaceae, y Rhipogonaceae tienen un polen únicu espinosu (Rudall et al. 2000a[8]), pero nunca formaron un clado n'analises moleculares. Rhipogonum ye munches vegaes allugada como hermanu de Philesia /Lapageria, polo que podría ser combináu con ellos, y Smilax ye polo xeneral hermanu de Liliaceae (pero nunca con más de 80 % de sofitu). Fay et al. (2006:[7] so sofitu), Givnish et al. (2006:[9] alto sofitu), y Chase et al. (2006[5]) atoparon a Philesiaceae y Rhipogonaceae como taxones hermanos, y a Smilacaceae como hermanu de Liliaceae.

La familia foi reconocida pol APG III (2009[3]), el Linear APG III (2009[1]) asignó-y el númberu de familia 57. La familia yá fuera reconocida pol APG II (2003[10]).
