Annual herb. Leaves imparipinnate; leaflets 5-11; petiole very short. Stipules reduced to glands. Flowers yellow or orange, in axillary pedunculate umbels. Calyx with subequal narrow teeth. Petals with long claw, equal to the limb. Fruit glabrous, shiny, composed of 2-5 spherical 1-seeded articles, each dehiscing into 2 valves.

Antopetitia is a genus of flowering plants in the legume family, Fabaceae. It belongs to the subfamily Faboideae.[1]

Members within the genus bear odd-pinnately compound leaves with five to eleven leaflets. Stipules are reduced to glands. Inflorescences are pedunculate umbels borne in axillae. Flowers each have a gamosepalous but toothed calyx and a corolla of petals each divided into a claw and limb of equal or near-equal length.
