Spilomyia fusca (Bald Faced Hornet Fly) is a species of flies in the family flower flies. They visit flowers of common boneset, eastern purple coneflower, Kalm's St. John's wort, and Culver's root. They are diurnal. Individuals can grow to 17 mm.
