Diagnostic Description

Hind tibiae without apical spurs; basicosta with strong setae as dense as those on the adjoining costa, never with the setae sparse; vertex rarely with a tubercle; first antennal segment moderately enlarged dorsally and extending over the pedicel; no prominent black pilose spot covering the base of the scutellum and adjacent area of the mesoscutum; species not wholly black; wings not heavily spotted; subcallus denuded and shiny, joined to the adjoining basal callus; frons distinctly widened above.
