Melilotus indicus is a species of annual herb in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Pampa, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, and SãO Paulo. They have compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Polyommatus icarus, Phyciodes mylitta, Apis mellifera, and Colletes. Individuals can grow to 0.34 m.
