Uredinia chiefiy hypophyllous, scattered, round, small, 0.2-0.5 mm. in diameter, early naked, pulverulent, cinnamon-brown, ruptured epidermis noticeable; urediniospores obovate, 24-26 by 26-30 /z; wall cinnamon-brown, thin, 1-1.5 m, finely and closely echinulate, the pores 2, opposite and equatorial.
