TeHa hypophyllous and caulicolous, closely gregarious or confluent into more or less rounded pulvinate masses 1-3 mm. across, dark cinnamon-brown, early naked, ruptured epidermis inconspicuous; teliospores irregularly ellipsoid or oblong, 16-20 by 23-28 m, rounded at both ends or rarely somewhat narrowed below, slightly or not constricted at septum ; wall cinnamon-brown, 1.5-2.5 ju thick, not or somewhat thicker above, up to 6 ju> smooth; pedicel colorless, sometimes longer than spore, usually breaking near spore.

Solanum triquetrum Cav., Texas.
Type locality: Austin, Texas^ on Solanum triquetrum. Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
