Sori in the leaves, ovate, somewhat pustulate at margin, 0.5-1 ram. in diameter, but often confluent and then larger, with a light-colored center and a darker-colored margin, showing on both surfaces of the leaves; spores hyaline to yellowish or golden, chiefly subspheric, sometimes slightly angled through pressure, with a moderately thick epispore, chiefly 10-14 ^ in diameter; conidia frequent, showing on the under side of the leaf as whitish growth, hyaline, cylindric, slightly bent, 2-2.5 X 28-32 it.
