Pileus up to 3 cm broad, broadly convex, dry, bright yellow to bronze colored. Flesh pale yellow to white. Lamellae adnexed bright rusty brown, covered by tenacious cortinate veil, disappearing with age. Stipe 2-3 mm long, with a trace of a marginate bulb, bright yellow.

Bright yellow to bronze colored. Short and squat, button-shaped. Persistent cortina. Embedded in soil or sand amongst bright mycelium and tree roots. Sequestrate or hypogeous.
Poor soils with Myrtaceae.
