Description
provided by Flora of Zimbabwe
Perennial herb, growing from a woody rootstock, typically flowering before the leaves appear. Stems erect at first later prostrate, occasionally climbing. The keel of the flower has a distinct upward directed pocket, giving the flowers of this species a twisted, asymmetrical look. See Vigna frutescens for comparison.
