Phyllosticta abortiva Ellis & Kellerm. Jour. Myc. 1: 4. 1885
Spots subcircular, brown, with a definite dark border which is scarcely raised, reaching
a diameter of 0.25-1 cm.; pycnidia minute, black, thickly scattered over the infected spot, visible on both sides of the leaf; spores imperfectly developed.
On Menispermaceae :
Menispermum canadense L., Kansas. Type locality: Manhattan, Kansas, on Menispermum canadense. Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
