Medicago lupulina (Black Medick) is a species of annual herb in the family legumes. They are climbers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have compound, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Eucera parnassia, Lasioglossum politum, Halictus confusus, and Heriades cressoni. Individuals can grow to 2 feet.
