They are native to SãO Paulo, Alagoas, Rio Grande Do Sul, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande Do Norte, The Contiguous United States, Caatinga, Tocantins, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Amazônia, ParaíBa, GoiáS, Mata Atlântica, Sergipe, Pernambuco, Paraná, Pará, RondôNia, Minas Gerais, Acre (Brazil), Bahia, Maranhao, Mato Grosso, Ceará, Distrito Federal, Rio De Janeiro, U.S. Virgin Islands, Piauí, Roraima, and Cerrado. They have broad leaves.
