Juncus tenuis (Slender Rush) is a species of perennial grass in the family rushes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Ecuador, Canada, Puerto Rico, Rio Grande Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Colombia, Costa Rica, Santa Catarina, The Contiguous United States, Honduras, Jamaica, United States, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Brazil, Bolivia, Rio De Janeiro, Guatemala, Peru, Pampa, Alaska, Paraná, Mexico, SãO Paulo, and Mata Atlântica. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 1.5 feet.
