Senegalia reniformis (Benth.) Britton & Rose
Acacia reniformisBenth.; Hook. Ic. PI. 12: 59. 1875.
A glabrous shrub, somewhat prickly. Stipules large, foliaceous, orbicular to reniform; pirmae 1 or 2 pairs; leaflets 1 pair, orbicular to reniform, 2.5-3.5 cm. long, glabrous, coriaceous; inflorescence a slender raceme, 2.5-3.5 cm. long; peduncles short; calyx and corolla glabrous; stamens numerous; ovary stipitate, glabrous.
Type locality: Banks of the Rio Moctezuma, near Las Apimtas, Mexico. Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
